Did that really say bacon? I llllllllove to eat Brussel sprouts. Which is kind of strange because I never even tasted a brussel until I was in my 30's. It provides that your taste buds really do change as we get older so never stop trying new things!
Ingredients:
1 bag of Brussels (I use the bags sold at Aldi's)
5 strips of bacon (look for low sugar)
2 tbs olive oil
2 tbs balsamic vinegar
Garlic Salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 F. Cut brussels in half. I always cut the tops off to make them softer. Place in bowl. Add oil, vinegar, blend together well. Spray bake sheet with olive oil spray, pour brussels out on pan, drizzle with garlic salt.
place in oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
While brussels are in oven, place bacon on microwave safe dish and heat 1 minute for each strip of bacon or cook in fry pan until crisp. Let bacon cool for about 15 minutes. Break or cut bacon into small pieces. After brussels are removed from oven add chopped bacon. Enjoy!
